Subject: [hinduism-religion] Happy Hanuman Jayanti..
May Lord Hanuman give you his strength,
May bless you with his perseverance and
May he grant you art of Devotion as he had for Lord Rama !
Happy Hanuman Jayanti..
AND
Wishing you all a very happy new year. Hope the puthandu (new year) brings you every joy and happiness
Lord Hanuman was born on the Chaitra Shukla Purnima (full moon day in the months of March-April) and is worshipped with great reverence. He is a brahmachari (celibate) and is called by the names, Maruti, Pavanaputra, and Mahavira. A beneficent guardian spirit, he is worshipped as a god. In his dedication to Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman is upheld as a model for human devotion to God.
Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated to honor, worship and glorify our Patron Saint, the Lord of Virtue, Strength, Success and Vigor to bring happiness, richness and peace to our lives.
It marks a symbolic acceptance of the human race`s peaceful co-existence with nature and the worship of an animal as a divine creature. Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Hanuman.
He was an ideal karma yogi for his fearless, selfless service, humility and devotion for Lord Ram. Lord Hanuman is the only deity that cannot be troubled by negative energies.
